Itinerary                                      

Discover the lifestyles of ethnic minorities by visiting and staying with them in their villages. Trek through the jungle, up mountains in a remote area.

Day 1: Luangprabang - Nong Khiew - Vienghin village.

Start in early morning at 7:00 am, we drive on route 13 north, we will stop in Nam Thuam local market shopping buy some food for our picnic lunch, towards on the road to Nongkhiew then turn left onto a dirt road and travel for about 8 kilometers and make a short stop at Ban Nayang, Ban Houy Kong where we begin walking up towards a deep jungle, cross several small streams, visit a waterfall and then we break for lunch. After lunch we trek along the valley, hike up to the top of the mountain through to Ban Vienghin where we will stay overnight.

Approximately: 3 hour transport /4 hours trekking

 Day 2: Vinghin – Pha Yong

After breakfast, the mountain trail gives all trekkers a good chance to admire the very nice landscape, beautiful bamboo forest, and limestone scenery. Lao style local picnic lunch is served along the way. Whilst continuously gaining height can be 1,200 meters from Sea level, then all the long way down hill until arrive in the village, you will learn more about Hmong-culture, in the evening enjoy the Baci Ceremony and Lao Lao Whisky.

Approximately: 6-7 hours trekking

Day: 3: PhaYong Village - Nongkhiew - Luang Prabang

After breakfast, we look around the village, then we walk through some rice paddy and a single track to reach the Nam Ou River, then a boat cruise to Nong Khiaw. Car Pick up to Luangprabang..

1 hour Trekking, 1 hour boat cruise, and a Minivan for 4 hours
